I'm planning a bridal shower for my BFF, who is having a destination wedding. her MOH lives in Cali, so she can't do it. I am a BM.
The problem is I work weekends, so I was going to make the party at 6-7pm. I don't want to take a day off because I am already taking a whole week off for her wedding.
But I know most showers are in the afternoon. Is it wrong to make it at 6? I don't want people to not go just because of the time.
TIA

Re: Bridal Shower question - repost from BHB
Are more young or old people going? I know young people would like it because it seems more like a party, maybe old people not so much but who cares? It would certainly surprise the bride to be!

I went to a bridal party that started at 5. It was fun! There were young and old people there. Originally I was like what the heck most showers are daytime affairs, but it was nice...it had a different feel to it! Go for it!
