does the BP have to sit with the B2B? has anyone been to a shower that didn't have some sort of dais?

At my shower, my BMs sat with me at the dias but I have been at a shower where the bridal sat with her family and the BMs sat among the guests.

I had my cousins shower at a Chinese restaurant and we didn't sit with her. There was no dias. I only have 2 in my BP, I hope they sit with me.

I've been to lots of showers where there was no dais. And I've been the BP at showers for both. TO be honest, I prefer not to sit at a dais. It's more enjoyable to sit at a table with other people, and then just get up when it comes time to open gifts, play games, etc.

I didn't really 'sit' anywhere. When I arrived people had already eaten. I sat at an empty seat with my friends to have a bite, then spent the rest of my time opening gifts then mingling from table to table.

I didn't have a dais. My BP sat next to me at a big table with the rest of the guests.

Oh God I hope I don't have a dais! I hate being the center of attention. I also hope everyone can sit where they like.

Well, I guess it depends on how many people the tables seat. If you have to out them at 2 table, I could see not wanting to chose between them. Mayeb it would be better if you just sat with family.
