They were the WORST because I got like 10 more gifts AFTER the shower (some people couldn't make it). It was an ongoing process for a week and a half! And I am the type to write a novel for each person so it took forever.

My shower was on a Saturday. Sunday morning I went through everything and as I went through them, I wrote the gift on the back of the card and then the thank you. They were in the mail Monday morning!!! I was so happy to get them done

Haha no I knew for a few weeks.. but I was def. surprised at what an awesome job they did decorating and at my amazing coach cake!! Also an old family friend flew in from colorado to come so that was a great surprise too!.. I have about 8 trillion pictures on facebook of the shower. My parents did an amazing job.
and John and I had an after party that resulted in alot of beer and my face being smushed in the leftover cake.

i haven't had my shower yet....but we've got a few gifts sent to the apt.....so i've been sending out thank you's the day after! just so i'm not overwhelmed....which will probably happen anyway!

I finished mine about a week after my shower and just put them in the mail now. haha and I marked them as dated 'july 2009' they wont get them till august!

I want to have mine done that night! LOL. And have them in mailboxes by like Tuesday. But I'm a super competitive beech so I want to get them out ASAP and off my hands too.

hahaha...I agree! But I was lucky enough to be able to do them at work because since I NEVER have enough work to fill up my day I just sat at my desk and wrote them out. I think it took me about two days because I was trying not to be obvious about it.
