BRIDAL SHOWER THEMES!!!

I know its supposed to be a 'suprise' but I reallllyy would like to have a 1950's style 'Old hollywood Glamour' BS. I love the dresses of that decade, the makeup, hair and everything...Thinking about the cake and decorations?? Any ideas?

Just tell your BP that you would loveeee that LOL they will get the hint. Maybe you can have the cake be decorated as like a vintage purse w/ pearls adorning it or something cute/girly; maybe you can get long strands of fake pearls for the girls to wear and give out those cool sunglasses they used to wear as favors or something! You could totally wear peep toe heels and like a full skirt! You can have milkshakes on the menu or maybe get candles in that shape as a cute favor! You can raffle off DVDs like Grease! I just googled 1950s images so I'm attaching some for inspiration LOL! HTH

1950's and old hollywood glam seem like two diff things to be. I love both! When I think of 1950's I think of the poodle skirts, geled back hair, t-birds and pink ladies

Old Hollywood Glamour I see retro waves, red lips, pearls, lace and feathers.

FH and I are doing the Old Hollywood Glam for the wedding. FM me if you want some pictures of things I've been gathering to help the idea come together.
