ok so I recently watched an episode of Dina's Party on HGTV and she went to a thrift store, bought really cute sparkly handbags and then put vases with flowers in them and used them as centerpieces. I thought it was a really cute idea. I wish I could find pictures online to show you but I couldn't find any.

I would suggest using tissue paper around the vases to make them a little more secure in the bag.

Anyway its an idea!

Good luck!

whatever you do. Don't put shoes on the table as centerpieces, its bad luck

Really? didn't know that...

My friend's sister did shoes & handbags for her bridal shower... But she had shoes on her centerpieces so you might want to do something different b/c of what Anna said lol...

Favors (little purse-shaped compacts)

For my sisters' bridal shower I did pics in black and white of her & her FH(he got the pics for me) from various times (prom, vacations etc) they were in clear frames(5x7) that said LOVE on the side of them in black script with hearts. Then put a silver weight holder with balloons directly beind them. It was very cost effective too since the pics I scanned and ordered via walmart ($4), the frames were $3 each, and the balloons were nice from the dollar tree. As a bonus my sister got to take the pics home and place them throughout the house (the orginals were in albums)
