bridal shower timeline

How many weeks prior to a bridal shower do invites normally go out? Also, how many weeks before shower should the RSVP date be?

Mine went out beginning of June, the rsvp was July 6th, the shower July 18th.

My mom sent them out around 10 weeks before since it's during the Summer she didn't want ppl to schedule vacations.

i think they should be in the mail about 2 month before the shower... and have the rsvp be like 3-4 weeks prior.. hope that helps..
