Bridal Showers!!

I think i might be planning my own bridal shower...LOL its so funny b/c i come from a latin family and not everyone knows that a bridal shower should be thrown..LOL sooo with that being said, I will be planning my own and if my MOH wants to throw me one, then i will have 2! LOL

my question is...how far before the wedding should it be done? and for the ladies that have had theres...what did you do at your bridal shower? where did you have it? etc...

you can have a shower anytime really, most people do it closer to the wedding 1-3 months before the wedding.

you can do whatever you like at the shower!

brunch, lunch or dinner...tea party?? cocktail party?

I have read that you can do it within 6 months of the wedding....since we are doing it in DC and my mom and sister are in NY, we are doing it around their teaching schedule and doing it the second weekend of February break!

So my wedding is June 25, and my Shower is February 26.

We are doing a simple brunch at a place- they gave us a private room, I still have to pick the menu, coffee, dessert, and mimosas! I am NOT a fan of games, etc at showers- I just like to hang out with my friends. So we might do one, but that's it!
