Anyone have problems getting alterations done on a saturday. When I brought my dress they told me that they do Alterations on Saturday. When I called they said they only do them once a month and its for out of towners. So after fighting witht them on the phone, they finally gave me a saturday for my first fitting and told me I would have to make arrangements to come in during the week for my second one. Ugh What?? They are only open until 7 on two days and they aren't even close to my house and I work in the city. Anyone else have a similar story?

The place where I got my dress doesn't do alterations on weekends. I booked early though and got late weekday appointments. Since it's in the city and I work there, I'll just leave work a little early.
My friend had to take time off from work to get her fittings done.

maybe you should consider finding someone else to do alterations if they aren't working with you.
i think phyllis at gownfind has found some alteration places for brides.
