Re: bridal stores

Macy's Bridal in Manhattan- you get an hour (I think...or an hour and a half)..I went on a Saturday, the service there is amazing. I found my dress there too.

RK Bridal- great dresses, great prices. dont go on the weekends...and if you do go EARLY cuz you're still gonna have to wait. u gotta go find ur own dress and everything and there isnt much order, but if u can find the dress it'll prob. be cheap.

good luck

macys in herald square - hour long appt, nice consultant, but left me in the dressing room for long periods of time

kleinfeld - 1 hour exactly, wouldnt let me look around on my own, great selection though

lotus bklyn - great shop, educated sales people, not pushy whatsoever

bridal reflection nyc - great selection, staff was ok, annoyed cuz they brought out a dress 4k OVER my budget

wedding salon of manhasset - excellent service! noreen was my consultant and shes AMAZING, opened the store on thanksgiving eve so that my mom could cme and see my dress! Got my dress here, great selection and extremely helpful staff

i went to a bunch more little places around bklyn as well but werent too memorable

Angel's Bridal - This place is in SI, so if you're in LI doubt you would travel here lol. Annoying sales people, told you everything looked beautiful on and heard of alot of people with complaints about them.

Bridal Fantasy in NJ - Small mom and pop type place, good prices, pretty disorganized and it was more like you helped yourself.

Valentina's in BK - Getting BM dresses from here. Highly recommend, really helpful staff, beautiful gowns, not pushy at all. Going back this weekend and will prob purchase my gown from here.

Lotus in BK- Going to this weekend also. Have only heard positive reviews.

Re: bridal stores

Macy's Bridal in Herald Square - tried on lots of dresses, had a good experience (but dresses are marked up a lot)

Kellys Fashions in Brooklyn - the first visit was wonderful. everyone was very helpful. however after that the two other visits i had where pretty crappy. they try to sell you a package & then i found out later on that she was charging for $1,000 more for my dress then the suggested retail price. meanwhile she was making it sound like we where getting a deal.

Valentinas in Brooklyn - considering its only 3 blocks away from my house, most of my friends purchased their dresses here i should have gone their first. found the dress i loved at a better price then the above place. every time i have gone to try it on (4 times prior to actually ordering) we had a wonderful experience. everyone is calm & helpful.

Same here! I love Lillette's!

Macy's at Smithhaven - Not a good experience, didn't really like the staff.

Bergdoff Goodman - Loved it. Small selection though but staff is amazing and just a beautiful place.

Lilette's - didn't have a great experience....but I hear Geri is great to work with, I didn't have her.

Bridal Reflections Carle Place - This is where I ordered my dress. Love them there. Ask for Christina or Noelle, they are fantastic to work with.

I've said this before, but I'll say it again...I know a lot of bridal salons get mixed reviews, my suggestion would be to ask who people have worked with b/c your consultant should be helpful and accomodating.

Village bridal is babylon....place is gorgeous. Very helpful staff and decent prices.

Paradise Bridal. HUGE selection.....just huge. I worked with Lolita and loved her. Beat Village's price and they are very close to home so I went with them.
