same here. found my dress at bridal ref. in carle place, but officially purchased it in nyc. try going to their new nyc location?
theres also super couture gowns on union tpke and 186th street. but youre looking at 9k+

I've been to the Wedding Center in Floral Park several times recently (my sister is getting married and my mom is also looking for a gown!) They seemed to have a good selection of dresses and you can look through the racks yourself and make your own selections. They carry Pronovias and Eve of Milady, to name two of their brands. The salespeople were nice and helpful. Not at all far from Qns!

I liked Charisol Bridal on Northern Blvd. They had a great selection of Maggies. Also, Kelly's Kreations in Brooklyn.

I'm sorry - you probably couldn't find it because its the Wedding Plaza, not Center, sorry.
