bridal stores

in general do they offer sales on accessories? tiaras, veils?

i want to wait to order my veil/tiara...i really dont want to pay $650 for both.... and i'm really really nervous about buying online.
should i call the shop and ask if they have sales? and if so when these sales are?

i'm not sure -- i know stores like david's bridal do and kleinfeld's has that crazy sale but i don't know if accessories are included. it wouldn't hurt to call and ask! they won't know who it is on the phone that's always my justification for making myself call hahaha

They might around trunk shows and whatnot. What about making a trip to LI and going to Barron's???

the store where i bought my dress gave me the headband and veil for $250 instead of $350 ....

however, i have been trying to cancel the order because i would prefer to pay 1/4 the price on the internet (worst case, i'll buy a second set and it'll STILL be cheaper haha)

I would check out Etsy.com for veils and accessories, much more reasonably priced. I used to work in a bridal store and you would not believe the ridiculous mark up on that stuff (300-600%!!!!)
