I have plans to go with my mom to bridal stores in LI and Manhattan in the next month... does anyone have any suggestions for the best stores that have nice designer dresses??
We have an appointment at Kleinfeld's but we are going to spend some time in Long Island soon, so we need some advice!!!
So excited to try on for the first time!!

Which designers were you specifically looking for? There's tons of stores. My favorites were Village Bridal in Babylon, Charisol Bridal in Queens, and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue which is where I ended up purchasing my gown!

Ditto! I think their dresses start at around 2000. I found them to be very helpful and I ended up getting my dress there on the first shopping trip! They have a beautiful selection and are able to pull dresses from the Vera Wang store next door if you want to try any on.

I know I know everyone is going to say Bridal Reflections is over priced... They are not! lol I went to Bridal Reflections in Massepequa and NYC....you get what you pay for...

This is not really in Manhattan, its about 20 minutes west in New Jersey. Well worth the trip and there is no sales tax on clothing in NJ, so you are ahead by at least 9% walking in the door.
Bridals By Roma 1096 Route 46 West Clifton NJ
Huge selection, beautiful gowns, not the most attractive store, but well worth a visit. I just bought my dress there.

Lillettes (i got my dress and my bm dresses here) Charisol in Flushing (my mom got her dress here) Bridal Reflections- i liked the carle place one over the massapequa one

I went to Kleinfeld's and the Bridal Reflections in NYC. My experience at both was just ehh. I ended up getting my dress at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset and had a fantastic experience there, all the way through alterations. They were great!
