bridal suite

just wondering how many girls are staying in the bridal suite and how many girls are going to cocktail hour..kinda ***** that i dont get to see it with everyone in it but i kinda still want to make that entrance for those who didnt see me at the church

We're definatly going to cocktail hour... get all our hellos and thank yous in at that time as well. We'll have more then enough time alone in the limo ride...since we'll in in the rolls royce. :)

we're taking pictures before and will hopefully be able to attend at least half of the cocktail hour. we want to enjoy everything about the night and start saying hello to people as well!

We'll be taking the majority of the pics before the ceremony and a few after, but we hope to hit MOST of the CH - get all our 'hellos' and 'thanks for comings' out then Plus we want to enjoy all the good food!

we took some pics during the CH so we weren't able to attend, we stayed in the bridal suite for a little bit.

i say if you wanna attend your CH-- you can--and you can still have the grand entrance at the reception.

Same here! Want to get all the hellos and thankyous out of the way! besides Cocktail hour is my favorite part of weddings!

I'm not totally sure yet, but since I don't want to see FH until the ceremony I think I'm going to want to take pictures and just spend some time alone with FH to take it all in . Plus I want to have an entrance into the reception where we get announced as Mr & Mrs!

I stayed in the suite during CH. I did it because:

1. DH really wanted to make a 'grand entrance'

2. I knew that if I didn't stay put and eat then, I would never get a chance to...and I was right.

It was good to spend time w/ DH, and process what had happened. It also helped that we did an informal receiving line at the ceremony.

We thought we'd go to the CH but in the end we just wanted some quiet time for ourselves in the suite. Also wanted to do the big entrance b/c if we did go to the CH, we would have been MOBBED and not gotten a bit of food (our attendant brought us plates of everything).
