Bridal Suite Centereach?

I ordered my veil in late August from Bridal Suite in Centereach. I had a good experience while I was there, the consultants were very pleasant, and very helpful. I was told the veil should be in within 8-12 weeks. No problem. We had some trying times in the family, and the veil completely slipped my mind, until I realized 12 weeks passed. So I called the Suite asking if my veil was ready, and they told me late December, which kind of caught me off-guard, as I thought I was calling too late. Its now almost January, and I still haven't gotten any notification that my veil showed up. I know I need to try to take a minute to call them from work and follow up, but I feel like, as a business, that if the veil was finally in, they should have called me by now.
Should I have my guns loaded when I call them? Does this seem typical of this place?
