I can't be nice about that place...the last wedding I was in they called the MOH fat and said no dress would look good on her. She is 100% norwegian and isn't fat she is just tall and average size.

I went there last week to look for my gown and I had a negative experience. The entire night I felt like I was bothering them. At one point my sister had to come into the room with me b/c they left me standing there in a gown that didn't fit and I got dressed in my street clothes to pull more gowns with my sister. They just had bad customer service, who knows, maybe they were having an off day, but I would never go back there.
They do have a large selection of BM dressed, maybe they wouldn't be so bad with BM because they don't have to help as much.
Don't mean to go off like this, I have heard a lot of bad things, but I'm sure there are some good, so just go with an open mind and hopefully you will have a good experience there.... let me know how it goes! Good luck!!

I got my gown there as well as 11 BM dresses. Some of the girls were nice and the owners are helpful (but from my experiences they arent there very often and only really get involved if there is a problem).
That being said, I had several bad experiences with the salon and unfortunately the bad outweighed the good.

I guess it depends on who you get, because i also had Jennifer and she was super nice and totally understood what kind of dress i was looking for. I ordered my dress from there and then heard all these negative comments about them so i'm now nervous about it. I didn't like any of the BM dresses they had so i went to the Bridal salon in Centereach and they were Great!

Hate to be the bearer of more bad news...I had an awful experience as well. The woman who I worked with (i cant remember her name) was rude, not patient at all, and made me feel guilty for not loving the gowns she chose. She yelled at my Mom to sit down and told me I was picky. It was SO bad, it was comical.

wow i cant beleive how many people had bad experiences.
i actually had a WONDERFUL experience. i worked with Jennifer and she was great. she must have put me in 15-20 dresses...most were corsets and she would tie em up and untie them...tie em up again and untie them..she was so patient.
my mother bought her gown from there as well and i bought my 8 BM dresses there because they allowed me to negotiate and they matched a price that was $50 cheaper than theirs

i jsut went there this weekend to get BM dresses and we had a great time. It was great because they left us alone fot the most part and just checked in n us and how our progress was. We had the dressing rooms to ourselves which was great. I dont like when they hang around the whole time. When we finally picked the dress they came over and measured all the girls. We had so many questions because two of my girls are pregnant now but will have the babies before hte wedding and one girl is moving to Texas and they were very helpful with all of it. Im not sure who helped us tho. i didn't catch their names.
