I was wondering who have bought there gowns from Bridal Suite in Bayshore, & what was your experience,, I posted on the 07 board, but most of us havent gotten that far yet LOL
I have had nothing but GREAT experiences with them. I have been a BM a few times and we used them for the dresses and alterations. I also am using them now for myself and for the BM,'s FG's. They are super sweet, professional. I dont have one bad thing to say about them.

Didn't get my dress there but I have gotten a BM dress from there once. There were no problems. They were very nice and professional. I actually got my dress from Bridal Suite of Centereach - it was just closer.

HI I WORK DOWN THE BLOCK FROM THEM AND I JUST CANT SAY ON HERE WHAT I THINK.....WE USED THEM FOR MY GIRLFRIENDS WEDDING AND IT WAS JUST A JOKE.....YOU DONT FEEL LIKE A BRIDE AND HELP...NO WAY.... WHERE TO DO LIVE???? I HAVE A PLACE THATS UNBELIEVEABLE...WONDERFUL & THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A BRIDE.....

I got my dress there, my BM's dresses there, my mother got her dress there, and my mother in law got her dress there. We had no problems with them. I dealt with Maryellen, she was very nice and sweet.
I found my BM's dresses in a magazine. I knew that they carried the designer. I called them to see if they had the dress. They didn't, but they temporarily ordered a sample dress for my girls' fittings.
I recommend them. Good Luck!

I got my dress there. No complaints but I did think many of the women there were on the 'crass' side. Definitely no papmering going on. They did their job and my dress came out beautiful. I just think their customer service skills could use a little more 'sweetness' if ya know what I mean...

I got my gown there, and the BM dresses. I didn't love it. The women there are crass, and the customer service falls off the planet once they have your money. I found them to be pushy. They kept pushing off my fittings convincing me I could get them done last minute, asking me how weight I planned on losing, etc. They did whatever was easiest for them. What I didn't realize then, is how many fittings I would really need, and how scarce my time would be so close to the wedding. Although the gown was near perfect in the end, they completely stressed me out.
A lot of these places are the same...you can trust in the end, they'll do the right thing, but just insist on your way.

I got my dress there and my BM and FG dresses there. They are wonderful. Mary is fabulous. She made me feel like a bride and made everyone feel welcome. I went for my first fitting yesterday and got wonderful service. I have no complaints so far.

i got my gown there. Also my mom, MOH and FG all got their dresses there. we didnt like it. they did a good job on alterations and the prices are good BUT like others said the customer service there isnt the best. i had a problem with this one older woman, with white hair. there is a nice one and a mean one (the mean one has longer hair i think).
i went to go try on my dress after the alterations were done and before they pressed it. i made this very clear when i called up for the appointment. when i got there for this appointment they said it was pressed and ready to go and i couldnt try it on. i said well that is too bad, i called for this appointment and you werent suppossed to press it. so then she goes to me, when were you suppossed to pick up the dress and i gave the date, which me and the store decided the week and a half before. she gave me an attitude and said 'that is FIVE days before the wedding, you do not want to pick it up then'. i said that is fine with me 5 days wasnt that big of a deal. someone else take me to try on the dress and as i was getting into it, the mean lady barged in on me while i was half undressed, and said what exactly is it that you are checking with the alterations? i was ready to cry at this point. all i was doing was checking how it was before i got it pressed. i have every right to, it is my dress, it was paid for and i didnt want any surprises. i made the appoinment for this reason.
i also ordered a hem to hollow measurement and that didnt come in. but b/c of that i didnt get charged for hemming and they forgot to charge for the bustle. oops! serves them right for being rude.

Small world! I got my dress there too and we share the same date and reception hall! Maybe we'll bump into eachother at fittings although my dress hasn't come in yet....

That is so funny! I just found out today that my bridesmaids dresses are in now too! The only other thing I am waiting on is my veil. What other vendors are you using? Maybe we have other things in common!

When I went there the gowns they had weren't very nice. A girl I worked with knew someone though who bought there wedding dress there. As she was walking down the isle her dress started coming apart and her boob popped out!!

I don't think any of our other vendors are the same. WE're using Spelman, Keyth for flowers, and Hot Pursuit. We picked up the flower girl dress last week and the BM dresses should be in soon - I got those somewhere else though. I can't believe how fast the time is going!!!!!

I can't believe how fast time is going. I got a lot done the past couple of weeks though. I picked up one of the BM dresses yesterday because it's for someone who lives out of town and I love it. What color are your girls wearing?
