I don't really post on here often, but I have found a lot of great information on here since getting engaged last year and I would like to give those brides planning on shopping at the Bridal Suite of Bayshore a heads up. The service was TERRIBLE. I felt as though I was bothering them every time I said something or asked to try a particular dress on. Trying wedding dresses on is supposed to be a very happy/exciting experience and it was MISERABLE. During the whole process I did find THE dress (only because I had the info before going into the store, not because they suggested ANYTHING for me to try on). The saleswomen were so miserable (especially MaryEllen) I was almost in tears b/c they were so nasty. I should have been in tears because I found the dress of my dreams, not because of a nasty salesperson. Needless to say I will not be ordering my dress from them. I will ask Village Bridal of Babylon to order the dress since they carry the line and I had an excellent experience trying on dresses there earlier this month.
I am sure this post will be deleted soon, but hopefully someone planning on shopping at this place will read it before it is deleted.

i had the same experience. and so did my sister. my sister went there last year and left in tears. i went last week and couldn't believe how rude they were being. the only reason i went there is because my sister and i had some time and they carry maggie dresses. but you are right, they are NOT nice people and the lady could have cared less that i was there trying on dresses.

very good to know. It is right down the block from my parents house and I contemplated going there. NOT now.

I bought my dress from there and BM dresses as well. I dealt with Maryellen and found her to be great. I am sorry you had a bad experience. I seriously have nothing bad to say about them. I have been there many times and everytime I went, they let me try on my dress with no problem. You have to be happy with the place you love. I met a girl today and she went there and had a good experience there. I am just shocked at what happened to you. Glad you bought THE dress.

I went there for wedding dresses orginally but had found my dress before so i went with my BMs. they were super nice to me and very helpful with suggestions. their prices were pretty affordable. I also went to village bridal and they were really rude to me and my BMs.
I am so sorry you had a bad day and congrats on finding your dress!

Sorry you had such a bad experience there. I got my BM dresses there and everytime I have called or went there they have been nothing but extremely nice and helpful.

i had tried on a couple dresses there (dont remember who i dealt with) but i felt that they did not listen to me at all! i told them things that i hated and they brought me dresses with all these things and kept insisting that i try them on....well i did and hated every dress i tried on. obviously i did not get my dress from them.

i posted on BHB. the owner was rude to us, and they packed in 3 brides to try on dresses at the same time. it was awkward, and i wouldn't buy from them.
