Bridal Suite of Bayshore

Bridal Suite of Bayshore

I don't really post on here often, but I have found a lot of great information on here since getting engaged last year and I would like to give those brides planning on shopping at the Bridal Suite of Bayshore a heads up. The service was TERRIBLE. I felt as though I was bothering them every time I said something or asked to try a particular dress on. Trying wedding dresses on is supposed to be a very happy/exciting experience and it was MISERABLE. During the whole process I did find THE dress (only because I had the info before going into the store, not because they suggested ANYTHING for me to try on). The saleswomen were so miserable (especially MaryEllen) I was almost in tears b/c they were so nasty. I should have been in tears because I found the dress of my dreams, not because of a nasty salesperson. Needless to say I will not be ordering my dress from them. I will ask Village Bridal of Babylon to order the dress since they carry the line and I had an excellent experience trying on dresses there earlier this month.

I am sure this post will be deleted soon, but hopefully someone planning on shopping at this place will read it before it is deleted.

we had a nice salesgirl, but the owner was rude to us. they also booked 3 brides to try on dresses at the same time in that tiny space. it was awkward with families of different brides piled on top of one another, gawking.

I went there to try on dresses and they were OK (not overly trying to get my business but not rude either). The bottom line for me was that I wasn't impressed or eager to come back. They didn't carry anything like what I had pictured in my mind as my dream gown and I felt slightly intimidated for some reason. Sorry about your experience...I also went to Village Bridal and they were very nice

I am sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience! That is terrible. When I tried on dresses there, the girl who helped me was very nice. I think her name was Kristen. I did end up dealing with Mary Ellen. I did not think she was as friendly, but she did call me with a better price on the dress I wanted. I ended up ordering from them because it was the dress of my dreams and I was so glad that they could lower the price. Good luck with getting your dress! It should be a happy thing.

I have written on here many times about my negative experiences with BS of Bayshore... I'm sorry you experienced it for yourself! So all brides searching for a gown *warning!!**

Re: Bridal Suite of Bayshore

I was my sister's MOH a couple of years ago and we got our dresses here. Right after my sister's dress and all the BMs dresses came in their store burned down! They tried to sell us dresses that smelled like smoke and fire. It was gross. They were nasty and their service horrible. We wound up going to The Bridal Suite on 110 in Melville and they were so much nicer. They had a nice collection in BS but the service stinkssss.

i'm glad your going with Village Bridal they are very pleasant and have great service. Sounds like you got booked when they were busy because I actually had a great saleswoman that day when I went to Bridal Suite but I was in love with anything shown.
