Bridal Suite of Bayshore - bad experience
In January, I attended a bridal expo at the Bourne Mansion. There was a model there representing the Bridal Suite handing out coupons for $100 of a veil. All this coupon was, was a flyer for the Bridal Suite where she hand wrote '$100 of a veil' and then her signature on the back. No date of when it needed to be used by or a limit of how much should be spent there. Nothing.
So on Saturday, I brought my girls there to get their bridesmaid dresses. First of all it was mayhem. They were so disorganized. There were about 3 other bridal parties there at the same time as us and only 3 dressing rooms!!! All 3 of my girls had to cram in one room to try on dresses while my MOH waited since she couldn't fit in there. I felt so bad for them every time they came out sweating. We ended up ordering 2 of the girls dresses there b/c the other ones couldn't find anything they liked (all my girls are wearing different colors and different styles).
So after that I decided to look at the veils since I had that voucher. I found the perfect little birdcage veil and grabbed a sales associate to place my order. She asked me if I bought my dress there, which I replied no, but my girls were buying their dresses there. When I showed her the voucher she told me that I could only use it if I purchased my gown there. Really?! I showed it to her and told her that it didn't say that anywhere! Then she looked at me asked whose initials were on it?! How the ef am I supposed to know? It's the model YOU guys hired!!! She then told me that that model doesn't work for them anymore. OK - that's not my problem! When I asked to talk to the manager, she told me she was the OWNER!!! I almost started laughing b/c I couldn't believe how ridiculous the whole thing was. Needless to say, they didn't help me out at all - not even a percent off the veil I picked out. She did apologize but it was too late. I let her know that 'Brides talk to other brides'.
I'm sure many of you had good experiences there, but for me - I left there angry.
VENT OVER!
