Bridal Suite of Centereach-BEWARE fellow brides!
Hello,
I need to vent right now. This is going to be long and for those of you who are using the Bridal Suite of Centereach and like them, I apologize for my vent.
I'm getting married in less than one week and I can truthfully say, I've had a HORRIBLE experience with the Bridal Suite of Centereach. I would never use them again.
1) My dress: First they ordered my dress one size two SMALL and needed to let it out two inches. I went into the Bridal Suite the first week of April for my second fitting only to find out that they did none of the alterations they were suppose to do from the other time I was there. When I questioned them, they didn't apologize...nothing....they didn't offer me a discount on the alterations...nothing.
2) Bridesmaid: the bridesmaid dresses are two piece dress with the top looking like a wrap blouse. My friend asked that a hook and eye be placed in the middle of the dress so that she didn't expose someone by accident. She also needed the skirt let out an inch. She went back last week only to find out that the dress was not let out and that instead of a hook and eye, they placed a very large metal SNAP. Lovely.
3) MOH: She went a few weeks ago and had the alterations done. She went for her final fitting last week only to find out that one side of her top was smaller than the other side and there was no hook and eye. They assured her they would fix it. Today she went back, thinking she would just be picking up the dress. oh no. Now the top is too small. They tried to fix it but they aren't able to. To make matters worse, she was there for over 2 hours and drove down here from PA. One side of the blouse is actually smaller than the other. the dress looked silly on her and all they could say was 'sorry'
I spoke with the manager there who was basically no help. All she could say was 'you need to speak with the owner' I thought you were the f***** manager!
The wedding is less than a week away and my MOH dress is basically ruined. I would NOT recommend the bridal suite of centereach to anyone! my MOH was telling me that while she was there, there were two other bridesmaids who were having similar alteration fiasco's!
Again, if I have offended anyone by this, I'm sorry. I'm just so aggrevated by this and I can't believe that this has happened....
