bRIDAL SUITE OF CENTEREACH?REVISED

HI,

HAS ANYBODY BOUGHT THERE DRESS FROM BRIDAL SUITE OF CENTEREACH????? PLEASE TELL ME YOUR EXPERIENCES.

I WENT THERE TODAY AND I HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE, BEVERLY HELPED ME. ALL I WOULD NEED IS THE BOTTOM HEM TO COME UP, THE REST OF THE DRESS FITS PERFECTLY!! SO YOU GUYS HEARD ALTERATIONS THERE ARE NOT GOOD?

I didn't AND wouldn't buy my dress there. I went in there last month and not one of the three women working offered to help me, I had to interrupt them from looking at a magazine and ask for help. I picked a Maggie Sottero to try on that laced up the back. I came out of the dressing room and the girl just clipped the dress closed and said she'd be there all night if she had to lace it up. I said forget it and took the dress off and left.

In fairness to them I have read some good reviews on here, that was just my experience.

I didn't buy my dresses from them but I had a great experience when I was shopping for my dress and BM dresses.

I've never been there but I have seen on this board there have been some mixed reviews about them. some are great and some are not too great.

I would go and see how you feel about them.

I had a good experience with them, but I will only talk to amy when i go because she seems to know what she is doing. there is one woman there I do not like and will not work with at all.

i got my dress there and they were very nice when i was shopping, but once i bought it and went for alterations they were not as nice. i had the same experience as someone else that when i walked in people would ignore me and walk past until i said 'i'm here for my fitting!' then they convinced me that the dress didn't need to be taken up another 1/4 of an inch and i ended up tripping over it most of the night arghh..... but they're not that bad and i wouldn't say don't go. it's probably worth it to at least check them out and see what happens. i worked with debbie i think when picking out my dress and she was great.

Originally, I ordered my BMs dresses from a discount website...well, the day the dresses were due to arrive, the company announced they were bankrupt, and I wouldn't get the dresses.

I was in such a panic...my mother told me to go to Bridal Suite of Centereach, and I refused (because I had heard some bad things about them)...eventually, I went because I was so desperate.

Well, I WAS SO SURPRISED That they were so nice and acccomadating! The saleswoman heard me freaking out, calmed me down and told me not to worry, that they would get the dresses in very soon, and I didn't even have to pay extra for rushing the dresses! Two saleswomen helped me...a woman named Lola, and a woman with long blonde hair. THey were both very nice.

I tried on gowns there, they were very nice, helpful. I was there for 3 hours and they just kept bringing out dresses.
My Bm's ordered their dresses from there. SO far, so good. But most of the negatives I hear are about the alterations.

I went there on Tue! For BM dresses. I loved them! Amy was GREAT.
And i have been to 4 other places and Centereach was the most helpful.
I am going with them

i also am using them - i didnt go there to try on dresses but i brought in all the info i wanted about the dress i am ordering - they measured me up and ordered it for me when it came in 2 weeks ago i went to try it on and it is way too big - but i was told that it would be great after it was altered - so i guess i will see -

I Bought my dress and my BMs dresses from them. Yes, they didnt lace my Maggie up the entire way either but it was laced enough and clipped enough where it mattered to know that it was 'the dress'. Everyone there has been extremely helpful to me anyway.

I ordered my dress and 2 BM's dresses there. I tried on my dress 3 times before I ordered it. The 2nd time, I walked in, asked to try on my dress and Ryan(she's not there anymore) walked in the back and pulled it out. Didn't even need the paper work. Raquel helped us. I love my dress and the BM's and I can't wait for them to come in.

I bought my BM girls dresses there. Out of five of them 3 were great and 2 had alteration issues. In the end they all looked great but some had more return trips than others.

I bought my gown and BM's dresses through them and I have had nothing but an unbelievably great experience with them. They have been incredibly accomodating. I too only deal with one person there- Jackie.
