Okay, so as you know I live in NC and will be havig the wedding on LI. Is anyone else staying at a Bridal Suite in Nassau County? If so, what are the prices like. I am going to need it for two nights. I would like it to be a place where I can book rooms for OOT guests as well. My mother wants the rooms to be $100 or less (she can be so annoying sometimes!!!). Any advice?

Re: Bridal Suites
It might be kinda hard to find rooms for less than $100. I think most places are more than that. I'm using the Marriot in Uniondale and the rooms are going to be $149....the bridal suite is $400 a night. Personally, I didn't want to spend that much on one night, so I'm just getting a normal room....Sorry I couldnt help you more...good luck!!!

I am also at the Swan Club and my OOT towners will be reserved at the Roslyn Claremont at $159 per night. I love the hotel it is absolutely beautiful and elegant. Secondly, they do have a bridal suite however, I have not inquired about that yet. They would be worth checking out.

I tried to find hotel rooms for OOT guests for $100 or less also - the closest I got was at the Red Roof Inn in Westbury. For some reason, the price depends on how many people are staying, but it's $110 for 2 people, $115, for 3, or $120 for 4.

Re: Bridal Suites
We are using the Bridal Suite at the Inn at Plainview (which is turning into a Sheraton on May 1). We are paying $189 for the bridal suite and the guests can reserve rooms for $109. The whole place was redone a few years ago and its gorgeous-- the bridal suite is amazing! They are great over there-- they are definetly worth checking out! They are also a vendor on LIW.

Re: Bridal Suites
Plainview is just off the LIE/Northern State near the Nassau/Suffolk Border. It's south of Syosset, north of Bethpage, East of Hicksville. Just west of the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway (Rte 135). I lived there for over 30 years. The hotel is right off the expressway... very easy to get to.
Your guests would have to travel west on the LIE into Western Nassau, then North passed Jericho and snale their way around through Roslyn. Honestly, it's not very convenient and your OOT guests have more of a chance of getting lost.
I would tell your mom a $99. hotel or less is most likely not going to happen. I would be very happy with a Western Nassau hotel for between $119-150.

Not too close to Garden City... but not too far either... Your guests could probably jump on the LIE from the Swan Club and just go straight there but I'm not too familiar with the Mineola/Garden City area so I'm afraid I'm no help here!!

Re: Bridal Suites
I booked my rooms there as well. Getting one of the one bedroom suites at the Inn at Plainview. The rooms are spectacular...and for the price well worth it..
