Bridal Suites

I am going gown shopping tomorrow in Suffolk County. I'm new at this, any suggestions? I love this website already!!

Places that come highly recommended on here are:

Bridal Suite of BayShore
Bridal Suite of Centereach
Lillette's in Baldwin
and believe it or not, Macy's in Smithhaven Mall.

i second bridal suite of centereach. i got my dres and my girls dresses from there. good prices and service so far. i believe you need an appt to look at bridal gowns. ~lacey

Here's my suggestion - only take a few trusted people, otherwise all the opinions get overwhelming. I went with my MOH and my Mom and that was it.

Macy's in Smithhaven Mall has been great. My dress came in a month before they predicted it would and we got 15% off the BM dresses. Also, they met the price I saw in the city for the dress-almost 20% less so shop around for prices before you buy!!!

Adriennes in Islip, it is on Montauk Highway. I bought my dress, tiara, and BM dresses there.

Fantasias in Rocky Point. They are wonderful their. THey are the nicest people I have ever encountered at at bridal salon. My mom didn't like the distance, so I didn't buy from there.

Bridal Suite in Centereach. Nice people!!

I went to Macys,and the saleswoman was very nice...we didnt get it there

I got my dress at adriennes in islip- had a great experience when i was buying the dress....read my other post-hopefully they redeem themselves

got bridesmaid gowns at helens in commack and had a very nice experience there, so far

Stay away from Macy's Smith Haven! My only bad experience in dress hunting, out of about 6 places!

glad to know im not the only one... the woman was SOOO rude because i wanted to try on a maggie sottero dress... she said she 'has no clue why anyone would buy these cheap dresses and what a hassle it is to tie up the back and who would ever want to deal with that on their wedding day!' Then you should have seen her face when i asked her if i could put the dress on alone and not have her in the dressing room! rude rude woman!

It was probably the same woman who was talking very loudly about me to another salesgirl when I DID try on a dress myself (after waiting 45 minutes for help in a virtually empty store)!
