We are trying to get a gown that is being discontinued. However, the people at bridalshop.com (who have a shop in Mamareneck, NY) told me that they have the size and material that we want in the size we want. Has anyone ever used these people/website? If so, please let me know what your experience has been. Thanks so much! Please hurry!

I was e-mailing them back and forth because I was in a similar situation as you. They were very rude and I did not feel comfortable ordering my gown through them. Also, I e-mailed other girls on this website that used them and everyone recommended that I do not use them.

Hi thanks so much for the info. Do you know if the merchandise they have is the real designer, though? I'm not so much concerned of their attitued, I just want to make sure that the dress is from the actual designer.

I'm sorry, I haven't ordered from them so I don't know. Have you tried using the store locater on the designer's website. Usually if their store comes up on the locater they sell the real thing

i haven't used their website but my MOH just ordered her dress from the shop in mamaroneck. i also ordered a bm dress from there last year and had no problems. the women in the shop are not overly nice but they aren't rude either. they have a lot of styles for good prices so they definitely serve a purpose.

Hi, Thanks so much! That makes me feel much better! I looked up reviews of them on the internet. They were a little hard to find, but I did find some. One website (I forget which one) just does reviews of companies. They gave them a good report. Then I found other independent ones from people. Some were good, some were bad. We're not having the alterations done by them. We're just ordering from them. I will let you know how I make out. He said that he could have it to us in a week. I'm sooo nervous!

We were going to try and go up there today, but we couldn't get off from work. We have to go to Staten Island this weekend, so maybe we'll swing by there early in the morning to see and then go to Staten Island. Wish us luck!

I went up to the shop in Westchester a couple of months ago. They have TONS of dresses, organized by designer, but seemed a little overwhelmed with working through the online orderes. There was a bride there who had ordered from there and she seemed very happy with her purchase.
