what a shame im gonna come up with a way to make sure that doesnt happen to me.. cuz i wouldnt be as good about getting over it as she was...

omg that is so terrible..and wow who the heck would do that? i mean if it was a guest how could u do that to someone you know... or anyone for that matter..l!! poor thing!! i gotta figure out a way to make sure that doesn't happen!!! it's a bit scary to think of!

eeek.....it needs to stay with a person that is not going to leave it unattended after the wedding...if your parents are not staying at the hotel let them bring it home, otherwise they can not leave it unattended.....so sad that you have to watch for things like this at your wedding, but it is the unfortunate world we live in.

I am making a card box,,, nothing fancy, just something to put behind the sweetheart table. But I do not plan on leaving it alone at all.

yes it so scary... and awful. Fh and I were going to do a hotbox as a cardbox but now we think we are doing something less bulky that we can hand to my mother or brother and the last in charge would be another trust worthy family member. I also want to have the following day off not leaving for honeymoon until later on in evening or the following day this way we can go through the cards and organize and deposit everything so its not sitting around to steal.

OMG! I couldnt imagine someone doing that at a wedding! I guess you need to have someone watching it at all times, then move it to a safe place!

I saw that yesterday..... absolutely terrible. Can you imagine? After that, I am not leaving ANYTHING in my bridal suite!!! You never know!

OMG- I thought of this, but everyone tells me it wil be fine.Well, not I have an excuse to be worried.

I was planning on making a small card box for our dais and rigging it up so it can't be opened...lol

You never know. Even if you can trust your family, you never know about the guests they bring or staff, or in my case, my sticky finger cousins who I hope don't come to my wedding.

A few years back I remember reading an article where the envelopes were taken out of the card box. The RH played back the security tape and the father of the groom was the culprit!! OMG.
