Hey, I'm getting married on May 26, 2007 and I wanted to know how soon do I start shopping for my dress and how long does it typcially take to get my dress?

I am waiting until spring of 06. I am probably gonna try some on just for fun but I heard Usually 9-12 months before you search for your dress. Do whatever makes you happy though your the bride Good Luck

I'm going to start late Spring of 06 too, but if you fall in love with a dress now....get it!

Starting early spring-I have heard certain designers take up to a year to come in

I already saw and tried on the dress I fell in love with. Too bad it's about $1600.
I will wait until about May to see if the price drops.

a lot of places will tell you this just to get you to buy... yes some do take a while, but do your homework and make sure they arent just pushing you to buy....they will try! good luck! i would say spring is a good time
