is it necessary to purchase one?

I dont think its necessary but if you think you need one for a lipstick or something. I am conteplating this. I may just put everything in my emergency bag.

I don't think so.. It's not like I am planning on walking around holding a handbag at my own wedding.. Is your bridal suite acessible? I would leave everything there. Also, assign one of your BM's to hold lipstick/gloss. I did this for my friend at her wedding-- it's easier- and they'll definitely have a bag to hold that.
