bride price jack up!

Does any one else think it's completely unfair that hair & make up for the bride always costs more. what a rip off!

I agree 100%!!! Especially since my hair was destroyed by the end of the night - and I had a VERY reputable vendor!

My makeup cost the same as my BMs. Hair was another story.

i spent $220 this weekend on my trial.. I ended up taking my hair down & washing the make up off in a few hrs...

and day of will be about $250.... it's just so crazy! they charge the bride so much more. why ? what is so different that they are doing to the bride ? clipping in a veil?? gimme a break!

my hair stylist doesnt give that much of an increase for me and my hair took 2 hours to do during my trial, so it's been a lot of hard work for her

but yes, i know many vendors do jack up the price

I believe its more expensive for the bride because they spend so much time on us. All in all, I thought my prices were great. Didn't pay too far out of what my bm paid. I used Sandra Baldini and the Hair Genie and they did fabulous work.

Yes! My sister got exactly the same stuff as me....airbrush, lashes, etc and paid like $50 less.

my hair took about 30 min! wish they charged by the hour in my case. lol

Everyone's hair held up BUT mine ... so I don't wanna go and start knocking her, you know?? My mother's hair was still gorgeous the next morning before she showered - and her hair NEVER holds a curl!

I thought it was just because I was dancing and sweating so much - My hair that touched my skin was destroyed - had I worn an updo, I'm sure my hair would've held up just fine.

Bottom line is, I would still refer her - I just hate that I had to pay more when I was the only one whose hair fell, haha...

Yes! I'm panicking. Still don't know who is doing my hair and makeup! Had a girl come over last nite who did my hair terribly then my makeup was a joke. What a waste of$$$

My MUA was amazing, she has diff price quotes for what the price is for bride and attendants (it gets cheaper with the incr amt of ppl getting MU done) and then told me that if girls backed out last min she wouldn't incr my price so it ended up costing me $65 (incl her gratuity)
