Not at all!! You have a huge advantage....plenty of time to research and most vendors aren't booked for 2005 yet.
congratulations!

Congrats & welcome! It's never too erly to start, I booked my hall a year and a half before my date and I felt like I had so much time so I didn't get my a$$ moving, now I feel like I'm rushing to get everything done.

Re: Bride to be 2005
Its not too early. I booked my reception hall in July 2002 for July 2004, and there were already people booking in my month. I suggest if you want a band you should book that too. I went to book 2 different bands, and they were already booked for my wedding. You can wait for the limos and flowers, as well as invitations. Also, you will get this years prices for your vendors, so you will be saving money also. I just booked my photographer and my video, and both were wide open and I had no problem, but you never know. Its not uncommon now for brides to be booking in 2005, and if you have particular vendors that you want do it now, especially catering halls (and even more especially on saturday night). Dont get your dress yet though, because you dont want it to get yellow sitting in your house. Good luck!
imagin has an excellent point...booking early will get you this years prices!!
I think most vendors that we talk about will be around and you would not have to worry about booking so early...
you'll be surprised how quickly it all passes!!
good luck!!

Never too early! Especially if you have your heart set on something. You don't want to miss out on ANYTHING because you thought it was too early to look.

its definatly not too early. we are gettting married in 2005 and some places were already booked up when we went to book in january. start looking now for a hall and you can wait for the other details.
