Hi everyone, I am getting married on sept. 28, 2007 I have 8 bridemaids?? First question!! Should my MOH be in a different dress then everyone or all the same I like choc..color or maize or apricot!! I need some help deciding? Three of my bridemaids are bigger then my other 5.....HELP these are my dresses
I'm having 6 BM, 2 Jr BM and a MOH. All are wearing the same dress. I gave MOH the option of choosing a different one and she said no. So she gets a different bo-k to stand out from the rest.
My BMs are ALL different sizes, and I chose the same dress for all of them, and they all agreed. But the dress they all agreed on isn't strapless like your BM dresses are, so I'm not sure if that would change the situation.
Also, I LOVE the chocolate color.

u can do whatever u want...have your MOH in a diff color and the rest in another.......but same dress. or 4 in 1 color 4 in another.

I personally like it better when all the girls are in the same color.
If you have some bigger girls in your party I would do the chocolate- darker colors are more flattering.

those dresses are really nice. I have the same problem as you! some of my girls are bigger all the dresses i absolutely love i dont think i can do cause of the 'heavy' girls. You can put them in whatever you want but personally i think it looks better with the same dress maybe do hers a differnt shade of the bridesmaid dress

I choose the same dress for my MOH as the BMs. I love the chocolate and the lighter cream color one. Very pretty dress.

i like the idea of having two different colors but the same dress...the brown and ivory look awesome together

First off, hi date twin!!
Secondly, i love the chocolate color and maize but the maize may not show up in pics (it may look too light and close to your dress).
I have one MOH & 4 bridesmaids. My girls are wearing copper and I would like my matron of honor to standout. Therefore, i am having her wear a different dress in the same color and doing a larger boquet for her than the other girls.
You are really free to do whatever you want. I do agree with what someone else said though. Use the chocolate for the larger girls b/c darker colors are more flattering.

My 4 BMs are all different sizes so I decided to go with separates. Turns out the 3BM chose the same top and bottom and my MOH chose a different top and bottom.
It's all your personal choice though whether you want her to wear a different dress.

I have 6 BM and 1 MatOH ranging from a petite size 8 to a tall size 22. They are all are wearing the same dress, I gave them 2 choices and let them decide which one they were all more comfortable in. But my MatOH will have different flowers and possibly gloves instead of the wrap depends on the church if she can be bare shouldered.
