So I have eight bridemaid, I Do not know what to get as gifts. I am working on a tight budget, so I can't afford to pay for their dresses, hair, makeup, or any of that. So, here is what I got so far
Tote bag with initials wine glasses with their names makeup bag with initials
Is there is great dollar stores, I can get luggage tags, or anything really cute to add in the bags. I NEED IDEAS. I was thinking of adding a glass of wine to all their bags and a pashmina. Two of them are pregnant, so maybe they can drink the wine afterwards I dont know what to do, I AM SO LOST.

What about their day of jewelry? A bunch of girls on here have gotten earrings + necklace sets for like $15-20 at Macy's. If you have coupons, you can probably get a similar deal.

i like the glass of wine idea... it will go with the wine glasses then and the pashmina would be nice too!

I went to Macys right after Christmas and got jewelry for them there... they had amazing sales!! I would try something like this, you can get nice things for a very reasonable price. I might do the pashminas too, you can get them for like 3 dollars each in the city... check out my album for a picture of the jewelry I got them...

I think either of thes suggestions is great, but I really prefer receiving DOJ as a gift. The one time I didn't get DOJ I was so confused as to what to wear and how much to wear. It just makes my life easier to be told or given what to wear as DOJ.

I'm doing the standard DOJ, Pashmina and I am going to get those Dr. Scholl's slipper shoe things that roll up into your purse.

Re: Bridemaids Gifts
I am a 2011 bride stalker...sorry, I love planning and miss hearing all the ideas. Here are some things. I had 10 girls and gave them a handbag (filled with stuff - ie. tissues, gum, etc), DOJ (earings/necklaces), a pashmina, flip flops, personalized shoe bag.
For pashmina's that are cheap and nice quality - http://googdot.com/
Personalized shoe bags (you know your girls are going to take their shoes off) - http://www.neimanmarcus.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=prod38150156&eItemId=prod38150156&cmCat=search&searchType=MAIN&parentId=&icid=&rte=search.jhtml%253FN%253D0%2526Ntt%253Dshoe%252Bbag%2526_requestid%253D42690
For jewelry/handbags/etc....it is worth taking a trip into the city. They have TONS of accessory places that sell at wholesale. 32nd street - 26th street on 6th Ave. There is also a small bridal place (sells veils, head pieces, under garments, etc on I believe 28th street and 6 Ave.
Hope that helps!!! Good Luck!
