OMG... I'm at work, CRYING listening to this song. SO nice! I was going to do 'Memories' by Elvis with my mom, but now I LOVE this. I was thinking I can have the words printed, too, and put them in a program on the table, and also have them specially printed for my mom to give to her. I LOVE it! Thank you so much for sharing!

Okay, I think the song is great, but the last verse is just a little too depressing to play at a wedding IMO. It talks about visiting her mom at the nursing home and feeding her with a spoon. My mom would have shot this song down if I suggested it to play at the wedding. Too sad! Everything up until the last verse is great!

Good point (that's my maid of honor speaking above me! . ) My mom was BAWLING when I sent this song to her, MOSTLY because of the last verse. She did say it was too depressing, since it made her think of HER mother who passed away (my beautiful Grandmother). So, I still want to use this song because it's PERFECT for my mom, but I'm going to ask the DJ to end it before the last verse.

Omg, that just brought tears to my eyes...that song is SOOO touching, it's perfect!!!

I agree! It is a beautiful song, but I know if I had played it for my mom she also would have been depressed with the last verse and probably would have related it to her mom. My mom and I danced together by 'turn around 'by the kingston trio. It is really beautiful :)
