With less than 5 months to go I can't seem to get excited! lol We've been engaged since August of 2011 so it's pretty much been a waiting game up until this year.
Vendors have been booked
Hair and Make-up booked
I have just small things left....
I wanna be excited!!!! haha
Anyone else feel like this???

Yes!! I have been engaged since October 2011 and am less than two months away! The excitement is so unbearable!!!

Definitely! We've been engaged since June, 2011... every one keeps asking how the planning is going and am I excited. Honestly, my planning is completely done and we are literally just waiting around haha--have to admit though, I wouldn't want it ANY other way. I love that I'm not stressing out & doing things last minute a month before the wedding. So I probably sound completely unenthused when people ask me questions....
I DO get excited each day when I see my countdown getting closer though, now that we are at 38 days!

Exactly! I think for us long-term engaged girls, the excitement really peaks at a month before. I just had my bachelorette party on Saturday & I booked my facial & nail appointments and that's when I'm like:
I tell all of my friends when they get engaged... definitely do a long engagement. Planning in a short amount of time IS completely possible, but why not relax & take your time with the planning! Personally I needed time to wrap my head around the whole getting married idea and at this point I feel completely ready!!
I'm sure you'll feel the excitement once you have your bridal shower and really, once August hits!!

You guys aren't the only ones. FH and I have been engaged since December 2011 and I'm soooooo ready to walk down the damn aisle. I'm still in the process of booking my honeymoon and I need to order invites and tackle some DIY projects. Ever since the hurricane I've been so over wedding planning and considered hiring my DOC to plan the remainder of it. I know my shower is in June, so maybe I'll start getting excited and enjoying myself again when that happens.

Yeah...My mom has been gathering information from me about my shower so thats definitely where most of my excitement is coming from at the moment.

So glad we got married in less than a year. I am feeling a little stressed with all the last minute stuff to do, but I can't wait to call FH my husband. Also, we are in our late 30's, so a 2 year engagement didn't seem right at this point in our lives.

This exactly Jazz!! I have to tell you I am 3 days out and it doesnt seem real yet. I am calm and ready to be his wife already.
I would not have changed the long engagement though it gave us the time we needed.

2014-er crashing! I've been engaged since December 2011 and won't be getting married until June, 2014. It's been great having a long engagement because FH and I are able to take our time and enjoy the whole process but then again, I just want to be married already! I can't imagine how anxious I'm going to feel a few months before the wedding.
