I'm wondering, are there any brides out there from Great Neck? I'm moving in with FH this Sunday, and while I'm excited to live with him, I'm realizing I know no one in this area (other than FH).

I dont live in Great Neck but i live in Douglaston which is like the next town over. I used to work in GN and am very familiar with the area. Is there something that you need help with?

I used to live in Great Neck when FH and I first got together... I LOVED living there. There are so many great things about it... If you like sushi by the way, DEFINITELY check out Daruma!!! I so miss that place . . .

Oh good, there are some people from Great Neck! I just wanted to reach out and see if there was anyone else in the area.
I'll be moving to Great Neck Terrace (FH has a coop there) on Sunday. Previously, I was living in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn and having been a NYC resident for about 13 years, leaving is a little sad. Though Bay Ridge isn't very urban when you get right down to it.
Congratulations on your wedding! Maybe we can get together sometime, though definitely well after your wedding. Are you going on a honeymoon?

I live on Clent Road and I love it here! Great Neck has great places to eat and shop! Leaving for Maui on Monday but maybe we can have a get together in great neck soon!

What would you guys think of an outing in mid-June, maybe the week of June 20th or June 23rd? I know there are a couple Starbucks in Great Neck, but if anyone has other suggestions I'm open.
