A couple of months ago, we received an envelope containing quite a wonderful surprise! This photo, along with a check in the amount of $845.00 was inside that envelope. Apparently the lovely ladies in this photo, a group of brides from Long Island, NY passed the hat at a recent bridal event, and gathered this money to support the mission of Wish Upon a Wedding!
Without generous contributions from supporters like these, we would not be able to carry out our lofty goals. With a vision of 25-30 chapters providing 12 weddings per year beginning in 2013, it is imperative that we raise a significant amount of money.
Eventually our resource pool of available Wish Granters may begin to diminish, especially for things like air travel and incidentals. Future hard costs also need to be considered for things like venue, flowers, food and labor costs.
Even if we START by allocating $1,000 towards each and every wish beginning in 2013, we would be spending a minimum of $360,000 every year JUST on Wishes.
We are reaching for the stars, and we need help from people like you! There are so many ways you can get involved. You can even host a fundraiser in your area!
