It was absolutely beautiful there!! The restaurants there are amazing so I just wanted to give some reccomendations if any of you want. We didn't have one meal that we didn't love!
The Flying Fishbone (the tables are in the sand right next to the water) Madame Janettes (our favorite) The Screaming Eagle El Gaucho (this is a must and order the steak!) Texas De Brazil (make sure your definitely hungry if you go here - it's endless meat until you tell them to stop!) Chalette Suiss
One of the excursions that we did was De Palm Island for the day - it was great. It's all inclusive and you spend the day on the island. They have the best snorkeling here and you can get a couples' massage on the beach. The also have a water park which DH loved. This was our favorite excursion!
Have fun to whoever is going - it's amazing there!

We stayed at the Hyatt right next door to the Occidental. It was amazing. I didn't get a chance to look inside the Occidental but it's in a great location and the pool looked beautiful. I heard it's really nice and the couples' that we met that were staying there had all good things to say about it.
