I have 3 girls in my party, any suggestions as to great gifts that they will cherish always, or atleast a couple of weeks? I was thinking a nice beauty package of products they would never splurge on themselves, or something trendy, each ofcourse customized for each girl and her lifestyle. any suggestions?
if i could I would treat them all to a day at the spa - but I can't do that - i was thinking of the basket with beauty items and maybe a silver engraved compact.
or what about a picnic basket
or customize to each girl's individual personality

i have to tell you - when I graduated from grad school a couple of friends bought me a picnic basket. I thought it was the greatest thing - and I actually have used it! Great idea Yabbobay!

Besides the jewelry I bought each, I also got them a gift certificate from their nail salon and hair salon.I'm putting these in a small white gift bag and will dress them up with the color tissue that matches their dresses. It nice and personal and not that crazy a cost. Each came to about $125., oh and a card. Hope this helps.

Picnic Baskets
Now's a great time to buy a picnic basket because it's the end of the summer season. You can get them at any craft store (Michaels) and fill them with personal items like the ones you thought of. They come in all shapes and sizes. Hope this helps!

I think the ideas have been great. I like the picnic basket. Just one other idea, you don't need to get every girl the same gift. You can give different things to match each of them. This is what we are doing. Some of the items we are giving is watch, pen set, Boulva mantle clock, compact and perfume sprayer, print framed, book, frame, jewelry box, and leather bound journal.
Just an Idea

IF I am giving my girls gifts, it will be either at the wedding, they will most likely be small, or maybe after the wedding, I will most likely see them all the next day, or after the honeymoon. I know you are supposed to give them like the day before the wedding, but I dont think I will see them. Since I am paying for all their dresses and hair and makeup, do you think another gift is necessary?

Gifts in general
VLempert - if you are paying for everything else I don't think a gift is necessary but maybe a nice thank you card - just to acknowledge them.
But for the brides who are not paying for dresses, hair, etc - get your girls something. I was in a wedding where the dress were $250, hair $50 + gift and the bride gave us nothing! I don't mean to be greedy but I think a small token is the least a bride can do to show her appreciation.

Vlempert- what you are doing is very generous. Basically your bridesmaids just have to show up to the fittings and appointments.
As someone suggested a thankyou note is more than enough. You will be thanking them plenty too at the showere bachlorette etc.
