Me - 32; FH - 33 once the wedding day is here
So, this means that nearly every guest my age has at least one small child so 1/4 of my guests will be children! HEEELLLLPPPP!

You make the guest list. You can say no small children or no children under the age of such and such. There is nothing wrong with that and I have been to plenty of weddings where that was stated. No one was upset by it.

FH and I will both be 37 this month. He's the 25th and I'm the 28th.

i just remembered a funny incident that you ladies may appreciate:
my mom is a firm believer that the husband should be older than the wife. When I first met FH, I was 28 and he was 27 (we were both born in January, so our age difference is literally 375 days). When I told my mom that we were going out, she naturally asked his age, and when i told her that he was a year younger, she said, 'So you told him you're 26, right?' and she was dead serious!
It doesn't bother her anymore, but I thought it was funny that 'old-timers' made such a big deal about age.
