What would you say were some 'unexpected expenses' that you incurred ?
Were trying to put some money aside for tips, etc, so were just wondering what other 'surprises' we should anticipate on our wedding day?

I didn't have any surprises except tips.
Not that it was a surprise, but I never thought tipping would reach almost $2k.
That was really the only 'surprise'.

No surprise tipping for us either. We knew who we were going to tip. I brought some extra money just in case any extra guests showed up and if we wanted to give larger tips

we ended up having more vendors show up than expected. We were told 1 dj, 1 mc, 1 main photog, an assistant, and videographer.
We ended up having 2 DJs, 1 MC, 1 motivater (i guess you can call him), 4 photogs, and 1 videographer, Completely unexpected bc we ended up having to pay an additional $160 for the extra vendors to eat, and another $400 for tips for the additional people.

We thankfully didn't run into any unexpected expenses since everything was paid off beforehand.
I would say the only thing is bring some extra money the day of on top of the tip envelopes just in case there is someone you might have overlooked tipping or if you want to tip someone more.

Thanks girls! A lot of you seem to be saying the same thing, which is great!
It's mostly tips and just some extra cash on hand, which is kinda what we anticipated.
