Brides-To-Be in their 30's

When are you guys planning to have your 1st kid?

We are getting married June 1, 2012 and I'll be turning 32 that August and FH will be turning 33 that September. He says he wants to enjoy married life for the 1st year so that means we'll have our first kid by the time we are 35 & 36.

I don't know how I feel about that. Anyone else discuss kids w/ fh's?

I'll be 30 almost 31 when we get married and we want to wait 2 years so I'll most likely be 33 for the 1st...We want a couple years just us. I say it's totally up to the person and couple, whenever you feel it's right, it's right, don't get caught up on all the stuff that everyone else suggests.

My cousin's husband is 36 and they just had their first child. I think more couples are waiting these days & I don't see anything wrong with it but I don't want to be 60 when my kid is only 25.

I guess these days age is nothing but a number :)

we are getting married in August, and honeymooning in Feb 2012...hoping for a HM baby
As much as people talk about 'enjoying married life' FH and I have lived together for 2 years and so basically we live a married life now!

i'll be 29 fh will be 32 when we are married. He wants to start on the honeymoon... i wouldn't mind, but i am a little nervous about it. I would like some married time with him before... It won't be more than a year though

we'll wait a year or so to officially start trying i think. i'll go off BC earlier though and if it happens it happens.

i'm turning 30 shortly before we get married and we said we would wait a couple of years before we start trying. probably when i'm 32ish

I am going to be 33 (turning 34 6 months later) and FH is going to be 29 at the wedding. We are going to try for a honeymoon baby. Both of my FSIL are pregnant and having their 1st child in the next few months. I want all of our kids to be around the same age.

By the time the wedding is here we will have lived together for more than 2 years. So I feel like we had our alone time and having another ring on my finger is not going to change anything (but my last name!).

I would rather have kids right away and be younger but there is nothing wrong with waiting a little bit also.

FH and I lived together for 2 yrs so I can relate to the already feeling like we're married, but as much as I would love to wait, I'm thinking when it happens it will happen.

i agree when it happens it will happen...but there is some planning involved...have to stop taking birth control etc.

I'll have just turned 37 when we get married this October. We will definitely NOT be waiting. My eggs are drying up as I type.

~ I will be 32 when i get married ..i wanted to try after the wedding but when i found out that i might have a winter baby no way...b/c of my FH job he works for sanitation so i think we might wait till may or june ..but when we get married we been together for 7 years so i think its about time.....in some ways im scared too b/c of my age

He wants to wait a year so that we are settled in whatever place we buy. I want one ASAP! I'll be 31 two weeks after we are married. He'll be turning 32. We shall see...

I will be 33 (almost 34) for the wedding!! If it were up to FH we would be at it on the Honeymoon!! I am thinking I would like to wait just a little bit... but def. not too long. I would like at least 2

I will be 32 and FH will be 41 when we get married. Men can wait forever and still have kids at practically any age. Woman its a different story.

So i'm still young enough to wait one year to start, i believe. I def want to try before 35. The doctors say after 35, it becomes more difficult to conceive right away for many woman because you have less eggs at that age and so on.

FH and I will both be 30 when we get married. I think we are going to wait a year and then start trying. I'd love kids sooner than later. I'm just scared of all the needles

We will both be 32 when we get married next month. I'm going off BC Memorial day weekend (when it runs out).... Although I don't want to get pregnant until the honeymoon in July - or after! Just not before we go away! My doctor told me that I need some time for my body to adjust to life after teh pill - at least one cycle before we start trying - so I didn't want to wait until after the honeymoon.

We've been together 4 years and lived together 3 years. We're ready for kids! :)
