Is it the dress, the flowers, the music?
Mine was how my tables would look in the reception. I wanted them to me glowing and romantic. I went as far as ordering custom made runners and tons of pillar candles. They turned out to be exactly like I had wanted them!
What do you keep dreaming about to be perfect??

Here's a couple of my tables...

first: Making sure my dad walking me down the aisle is perfect...and picking up my mom halfway down.

next: I'm really into the table setting as well. I want lots of candle light!

****deedee, Do you have a picture of your tables?? I'm also getting married at the watermill!

My parents walking me down the aisle. In the Jewish tradition, both parents walk the bride down, and the groom is even escorted by his parents. My father is semi-handicapped, and uses a walker to walk. He has been having lots of problems lately, and he almost needed to have surgery and we didn't know if he'd be able to walk in time for the wedding. Thankfully, he didn't have to have the surgery, but he still walks with difficulty. Whenever I bring up the subject, and say something like 'I would understand if you can't do it' I always get choked up when he answers me. His response every time is 'Even if I have to crawl, I will escort you down the aisle.' Don't get me wrong, I love my mom and am thankful that she will be there, too. But, I have always been Daddy's Little Girl, and having him there by my side is the most special part.

Actually yah.. my Tables are also big for me

Nothing fancy.. just classic and elegant by being simple and yet different.

Having my Aunt and my Grandma there. My Grandma is 92 and hasn't been feeling so great lately. She still lives by herself because she is fine- mentally. But, she has a lot of aches and pains.

And, 10 years ago at my cousin's wedding, my aunt commented that she can't wait for me to get married because she thinks that will be the best wedding that she's ever been to (she didn't mean $ wise because my cousin's is probably the most expensive wedding we've ever had (or ever will have) in my family). But, my aunt has also not been feeling well lately.

So, if those 2 are not there because of their health, I will be devasted. In a way, all of the planning won't be worth it to me if those 2 can't be there to share in it all...

One of them most important things we are planning is what will be going on at midnight. ( We are getting married New Years Eve) We are putting so much thought into how to set up the room so everyone can see the screen which will be showing the ball drop and we are going to have confetti shot out of cannons. We just want to make sure that exact moment is perfect, I mean we are asking all of our friends and family to give up whatever plans they had for New Years Eve that night so we have to make it as memorable as possible.
