brides using duet photography---im a little freaked out--
I have been reading posts about other brides booking with duet and mentioning specific photographers--was this supposed to be on the contract the name of the photographer or was it chosen afterwards--i have booked with duet but not with dpecific photographer----- i know who i specifically want is it too late now? did i screw myself because it is not on the contract or should i get them to print another one up? did you girls book specific photographers when you signed your contract--freaking out a little!!!! help... thanks

Ok hold on checking my contract now for you to see if it says a specific photographer...
ETA: It does...way up on the top it says PHOTOGRAPHY(alberto's) that's my photographer. You can check, but I didn't care who I got, I know they're all great! GL!

my contract did have my photographers name on it..to put it in writing..i picked him the day we booked..

You don't have to book a specific photog when you book with them. I would research some albums on here to see who's style you like (or you can go back in and look at specific albums) of who's style you like. We have Alberto who is awesome. People also really like Jay on here too. Go to Duet's website and you can Ask Erik or email Sue to see who's available for your date. No worries though b/c they are all great...

my contract did not say a specific photographer. when we set up our epics they told us who was available for our wedding date, that person did our e-pics so they scheduled the same person for our wedidng.
we waioted several months before booking our epics and pickingour photographer and we didnt have a problem. but try not to wait too long if you are hoping on getting a specific photgrapher

same as us. They should tell you who you have when you set up your e-pics.

We do not have anyone specific on our contract. They told us to go back and look at the different books to pick ourteam. I emailed Eric recently to reserve Alberto. You actually can't pick someone with a guarantee that you will get them. Eric told us that they do honor reservations but cannot guarantee that it is who we will have because a lot can happen in a year. Basically its a way for them to play safe in case something comes up and they switch your team. Just go to the website and do the 'ask Eric' email and they will respond with any information that you need.

we asked for a specific team...when eric printed the contract no name was there, so we asked him to add it. He just wrote 'jays team' on the side.

i didn't pick a specific team when we booked because we forgot.. so i just sent them an email requesting who i wanted and they put it down for me

I also requested Jays team when I signed my contract and it was honored... They are all wonderful, but if you do have a style and person in mind... it wouldnt hurt to see if they are available... in any case, when you take your epics... you will figure out who your photographer is since they take your epics. If you go to the brides review board and search Duet, most people say who their photographer is. Just find whose style you like the best and call them up and ask them to add it to your contract. I'm sure it won't be a prob;lem as long as their still available.
