Re: Brides w/ chocolate BM dresses...
I was wondering how the chocolate would look w/ the black tuxes also!
As far as bouquets, we're getting married in the Fall so I definetly want warm-tones w/ the flowers. I'm thinking some burnt oranges, ambers, reds, pretty much the colors of autums leaves. I think the contrast will look nice against the chocolate brown!
Hydrangea looks really nice w/ chocolate by the way!!!

Re: Brides w/ chocolate BM dresses...
we will have black tuxes, personally i love how black and brown go together...
i am also assuming we would go with ivory shirts or a color to match my off white (not completely ivory though) gown...
as for flowers i think i am going with orange and pink for bouquets. i have to think about church flowers, but the reception will have flowerless centerpieces.
so far some flowers i like:
ETA: i like light blue with brown as well but our hall has pink in the carpet so i am going to stick with the pink and orange combo...
I think it will look fine next to the black tuxes and Ivory colored flowers maybe but I don't know the name sawry :(

I think the black tuxes will look totally fine. My girls will have pink roses in their bouquet and a pink flower in their hair. Pink and brown go really well together - exactly why those are my colors.
Good luck :)

My girls wore chocolate dresses and I had gotten the guys Burberry ties that have a chocolate plaid that matched. I got alot of compliments for it and the black tuxes looked great. The girls carried pale pink ranuculous and MOH had ivory and pink. I actually kept the color as a theme for the whole wedding. My tables had ivory cloths with chocolate brown runners and pale pink rose petals...

i had the saaaaaaaame dilemna. i was set with bordeaux dresses and then my mom was the one who suggested brown. the carpet at louis xvi has bright pink, which would make the red color hard to match, or so i thought. we checked out the colors again and after seeing a dress in macy's that i loooooved, combined with the fact that there was a nice deep brown color in the carpet, i decided to go the chocolate route. my mom is making the outfits (beaded tops with flowy skirts) and it was fun to go material shopping
