I haven't even thought about a slip yet. I know it has to be very full though. If you check out my album there is a pic of my veil.
my best friend is getting this gown....the slip size really depends on the person because of the dropped waist... The seamstress told my friend that most girls go with a medium slip or a-line - but when my friend tried on the full ballroom is was SO gorgous & extravagent! even the bridal attendents were saying how they were so glad she tried it on because different things just work for different people. ur shop should have slips in stock for u to try on...???
oh & ps: shes gonna wear a cathedral length veil with a shorter layer on top..and she's looking for VERY simple detail work. She tried on a bunch & to much work on the veil took away from the dress because the gown is just GORGOUS.

Yes I tried it on with a slip but, forgot what it was and was curious as to what others were doing. I agree about the veil, I want simple detail but, I am thinking of doing fingertip, 2 tier.
