Brides who are getting married at RH

Are you decorating the ceremony spot with flowers, etc..?

I didn't even think about this, and think I need to adjust my budget!

Thanks!!!:

I'm not decorating for the ceremony. I just think that for the half hour long ceremony it doesn't pay to spend the money. I would rather put the money into ceremony decorations into something else JMO. HTH!!! good luck!!

we are getting married at the gazebo in Leonards and we just went to go see it ... they have their own flowers and we didnt want to spend so much money decorating for a 30 min ceremony... so we got the florist to throw in the tulle for the arch of the gazebo for free ... thats all we are doing.

I'm getting married at the indoor chapel at my RH. It comes pre-decorated....Thank god! One less thing for me to spend money on.

I don't think I'm going to do floral decorations for the arch or the aisles (our ceremony is outdoors at the RH). My mother really wants them to decorate the arch and put arrangements at the end of the rows but I don't think it's necessary.

ETA: weather permitting, this is where the ceremony will be held. What do you think? I think it looks beautiful without flowers!

WM includes ceremony decorations...flowers and such - so I'll just be using those. Not bringing in anything extra.

My florist will be making an organza archway and decorating with flowers and organza up the aisle...I think the ceremony was really important to me b/c that is where we start the rest of our lives...
it's a sacrament for goodness sake ...

I had a florist tell me it was a waste b/c it was all of 20 minutes and no on cares...I got up and walked out..

We are doing extras for our RH ceremony. We are having 6 5' candelabras lining each side of the aisle and we are having two large floral arrangements flanking the window were our ceremony will take place, plus an aisle runner with rose petals going down!! We wanted it to be lit mainly by candlelight! So that is our plan! It was extra money but really not too much and just a couple hundred dollars and it is really worth it to me! The Ceremony is the most important part!!!!!!!!!

Oh wow! I really wanted to do something like this but our budget just won't allow it. I was imagining something like this for you, is this what it will look like??

Re: Brides who are getting married at RH

we are just doing a candlelit aisle/rose petals and a flowy fabric chuppah thing - we are getting married in the skylight room of JT but since it will be dark (6pm in december is DARK) there will be no light coming in from the skylight and we are going to dim the lights - so it feels very dim/candle lit - i want that romantic feel - i dont want it bright - i also was quoted for a flower arrangement but i dont think we are going to use it - i rather save the $ at this point

my RH has like an arbor type structure and some pillars for the aisle...my florist is going to use my CP's for the pillars and i'll have my custom aisle runner...not doin anything extra
