I have decided to sell some stuff from my wedding like my veil, cake topper, unity candle still in box, and I forgot what's that thing called that goes under your dress. Have you guys decided to sell yourself. If you did, did you feel attached that you didn't want to sell mean while you know you are not going to use it? I will be posting with pics and prices soon just wanted your input. Thanks!

Re: Brides who are married already question for you
I will keep some items (for now).
I think I really don't have much to sell. I gave the flower girl the basket and the ring bearer the pillow as a souvenir.
I am concidering selling the cake toper.
But I am really not going to make any money on anything. I really bought my favors and chapel decoration (exact amount) so I don't have left overs but a couple of things.
I did not buy much extra nick nacks. I am happy now!!!

Re: Brides who are married already question for you
We didn't really have much at our wedding that I could sell. My veil was $15 and the comb broke, so it's not worth selling. My dress I am planning on wearing again. I don't know when or where, but I will. And our cake topper we have displayed on a bookshelf in our living room. IMO, the stuff you listed is not stuff you will use again, so it's worth selling off, if you can bear to part with it. Think about how if you don't get rid of them they will sit in a box collecting dust and you won't look at them again until it's time to pack up and move and how happy it will make another bride to be able to get the veil/unity candle/cake topper of her dreams that she might not be able to afford if it weren't used.

I just about sold everything - either on here, theknot.com, or ebay.
Re: Brides who are married already question for you
i have to say no, i most likely won't sell anything. i borrowed my sisters headpiece, so its not mind to sell. my dh's grandmother made the money bag and the 2 ring bearer pillows. i may try to sell my slip, but i don't even know what size it is. and we didn't have a cake topper, so thats about it

I am considering selling some things. Just haven't had time to put it together.

Re: Brides who are married already question for you
I will be selling my slip (full ball gown) and a veil. The veil I actually used for the wedding...the comb has 1 tooth bent, so I'm not sure if anyone would want it. The other veil is really nice, and I did not use it. I have to get rid of this stuff though...especially the slip, there is just no room for everything.

I am not selling anything I used. I have it all in a box in my basement!
