I'm not making my minimum for the hall which i'm soooo upset about...my hall was completely accomadating at first, assuring me that It wouldn't be a huge problem as long as I was close...I'm short by 14 people...so now when i call today to give them my final head count they are giving me nothing but problems...after I called and gave them H*** they called back and said they would not charge me for my chair covers but I would still have to pay the full amount...does this seem reasonable or should I complain more, b/c they are still making out on the deal.
any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Honestly even though that really does suck that you have to pay for people who aren't there, it's in your contract that you promised a minimum of ____ guest so I think they are being pretty decent by not charging you for your chair covers.

I agree...they are trying to meet you halfway by throwing something in. See if there is anything else they can do to put your mind at ease, if not write it off, take the free chair covers and enjoy your day

either start adding more ppl on if u can... or i say make a LIW table...bc hell if i come off having to pay the hall more $$ and ppl arent eating...id be dammed....they already are making more than enough!!

Nicole - chair covers are usually at least $5 per chair from the hall. So if you are having 110 people that is $550 bucks. thats pretty good! Tell Matt to bring Lynn
Don't worry about it, it will be wonderful anyway. Im sure your mom is freaking though.

yeah right, he won't bring lynn...you know he is...and then you really want lynn to have to deal with pugs all night... my chair covers are $4/chair...I'm so overwhelmed with this whole thing...not just that but now I have no idea who my BM since they keep leaving!!! ***
