Brides who did Bathroom Baskets

Was it worth the extra $ and effort? I am trying to put together my final to-do list and want to know if I should I even add this.

Thanks!!

It wasn't that much time and effort. People did use some of the items in there, although someone opened the box with the brand new bottle of Advil, took the bottle, closed the box and repositioned it in the basket to make it look like it was still there. Seriously, if you're going to steal the Advil, at least dispose of the box!

The items that weren't used (or stolen) have come in handy for me, so I guess in that sense, it was worthwhile.

Thanks! FH and I figured that whatever items are not used we could always take to the HM. Thanks

I think it was worth it, I would say the baskets were pretty much empty at the end of the night. You can get a ton of stuff from the $1 store to fill it with.

I didn't do any but that was because my RH provided them (so my BM said); I don't know if they did because I didn't even go in the bathroom during the reception.

But I'd check to make sure they don't provide it before you make it yourself.

I plan on doing them. It is nice to have the stuff there just in case. The stuff can always come in handy at a later time.

Def a nice touch but not necessary if you want to save $...My RH actually provided it for us

I have NO IDEA!!

No one mentioned a word about them to me. And I never got them back... so I have no idea what was used. I'm sure people noticed them!! I also had a 1 wedding venue so I'm really confused as to why I didn't get them back.

we made them...they were really easy and reasonably priced but we had a ton of stuff left over to be honest!

It wasn't a lot of extra money, and we HAD to do one. Our RH informed us that they weren't going to be providing anything other than paper towels.

I made them and wish I didn't. I would have been able to tell if the items were honestly used because they were needed. Instead I found the baskets clearly raided and near-empty. When I was telling SIL about how shocked I was, I got the vibe that she was even more shocked that I made them myself and that the hall didn't provide them. I bet she did the raiding herself. Sad that people could be so inconsiderate thinking the hall provided the items. I never made a cute poem either saying they were compliments of the newlyweds but I doubt that would have made a difference. I saw SIL walking out with clearly more than one favor in her tote bag. Actually, she looked like she had 3 or 4 at least.

I'm not sure. i think they were a nice touch... but no one ever said anything to me about them and I never got them back. I know they were there... but what happened to them is a mystery.
