Brides who have booked their band...help me please!!!

you girls have already helped me so much in finding my other vendors and they've really been great so far....but, finding a band has been the absolute most difficult! I've already seen the following bands perform and like them a lot:

Code Blue
The Projekt
Sweet Water

BUT, I also want to check out the following:

Arcadia
Renegade
Vision
Heart & Soul

I've read a couple of reviews about all the bands above, but I want to hear more thoughts from brides who've booked any of the above...your reason for booking, the sound, song selection, pricing, etc....help me...pretty please

We booked code bleu, this was FH's choice, he really wanted a band. We went to their showcase and loved them and recently booked them. Our reasoning isn't so sophisticated, lol, we just liked them!

i am not booking a band but i saw Heart and soul at a showcase and thought they were AMAZING!!!

i was outside of the room right before i walked in and heart pussycat dolls song and nelly furtado 'say it right' i honestly thought it was the dj playing the original versions then i walked in and saw them performing

I booked the Projekt...loved them...ust more our style but Arcadia was DAMN close!!! LOVED THEM!!! I heard renegade is really good though too. If you more into R&B though- DEF go with HEART & SOUL!!! they're one of the best bands I've seen!!!

we booked heart & soul.

my parents saw them at a wedding and they got their card right away and kept them in mind for whenever i would need it.

my parents kept talking about the band for days after the wedding (reason #1)

second reason: when i saw them with FH at a showcase, they sounded AMAZING! so close to the origional, they danced and went well together

third reason: they looked and gave off great energy, and had good workign relationship withteh others (they laughed together, danced together)

my parents are also attendinga wedding this sept with them performing, and they cant wait to see them again.

Ive heard Renegade and they are AWESOME, a friend has also booked them for an aug 07 wedding

they are very expensive, but very worth it (about 6k)

take a look at them - i dont know what your budget is?

We went to listen to about 5 bands, we ended up
booking with Code Bleu. At the showcase they played a little of everything and it was all great!! We thought they had a great sound and could keep the dance floor packed. But when they played our wedding song and I ended up in tears, thats when I knew they were it. The price was about the same as the others we saw, maybe a bit higher but worth it. Hope I helped.

we booked code bleu, they are awesome! we have a dvd they gave us and have watched it a million times. my suggestion is to call the band and have them send you their dvd or cd, it really helps. code bleu for us was just more our style and upbeat, some of the other bands you listed we thought were more for an older crowd. good luck!

I am not ready for the band yet myself but from what my SIL (got married in 9/06) says is that if it was cash there was no tax, cc tax was charged. Everyone loves the cash under the table!

i did however, book with Paris
check them out - i think they are great!!!
