Brides who have had their shower

Hi,
I am just curious how many gifts you received at the shower actually came off the registry? I have a hunch that mine is coming up (this weekend) and I don't see too many gifts off my registry, especially the essentials.

Do people usually give gift cards & cash or did your guests wait till last minute to shop? LOL

AGain just curious.

It's true that a lot of people will wait until a day or two before your shower to get your gift.
Also a few people will probably give you non-registry gifts & few will probably give cash/check.

You'd be surprised how many guests wait till the VERY last minute (i.e. the morning of your shower!) to get a gift. I was a total registry stalker, and I noticed that a lot of the older guests purchased gifts earlier on, but my friends made their purchases a few days in advance.

As for the gifts that I received, I would say 95% of it was stuff I registered for.

All of the items were bought off my regesteries. There was nothing let a lot of people gave me gift cards becuase there was nothing else left to give me. The stories efinetly messed up i got many dup,icate items and even some triplets of things. Thansful b.b.b and crate and barrel had amazing return policies.
